The Post-MSN Nurse Administrator Certificate program concentrates on developing knowledge and skills critical to be effective managers and patient advocates, especially as health systems face resource constraints and changes in both health care policy and patient care delivery.

This program is available to those already holding a MSN, DNP, or PhD or currently enrolled in a MSN program at 六合网址大全. 

Student Outcomes

As a student in this program, you will be able to:

  1. Explore the role of nurse administrator through a caring science lens.
  2. Develop knowledge and skills required to create effective collaborative systems of healthcare delivery to optimize patient outcomes.
  3. Analyze research, policy, legal, and ethical problems, dynamics of finance, strategic planning, and marketing.
  4. Complete a mentored practicum experience designed to implement innovations that address quality and safe patient care, change management, decision - making, and healthy work environments.

Prerequisite

This 12 credit Post-MSN Certificate in Nursing Administration program is available to students already holding a MSN, DNP, or PhD or currently enrolled in a MSN program at 六合网址大全.

Please be sure to complete section V: Work Experience. Our program is designed for nurses in practice. Applicants who are not currently practicing nurses will not be considered for the program.

3. Official Transcript(s)

  • All baccalaureate, graduate, and associate/community college coursework coursework
  • Must have a completed BSN degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above
  •  Must have completed a college-level statistics course, or equivalent as approved by the Program Director, with grade of C (70%) or higher

4. Unencumbered & Active Registered Nursing License

License must be from Maryland or a compact state.

5. Essay
