六合网址大全 (六合网址大全) Department of Athletics names Renee Bostic as the new Director of Athletics and Wellness. Bostic comes to Notre Dame serving as the Director of Athletics and Intramurals at NCAA Division III institution, Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York. She is the first African American Director of Athletics in 六合网址大全鈥檚 intercollegiate athletic history.鈥

鈥淩enee鈥檚 extensive experience in collegiate athletics and her proven success in the formation of well-rounded student athletes makes her a great fit for Notre Dame,鈥 says President Marylou Yam. 鈥淩enee understands and prioritizes the high value of athletics and its transformational role in influencing campus life and the student experience.鈥濃

While at Medgar Evers College, Bostic managed all aspects of her department including its 14 varsity sports, recreation activities, club sports, and facilities. Bostic also spent several years as a head women's basketball coach and WNBA Game Scout. She was the head women's basketball coach for West Virginia State University, Institute, W.Va.  (2008-12), Robert Morris University, Chicago Ill. (2005-08), and Hostos Community College, Bronx, N.Y. (2002-05). During the summers of 2007 and 2008, Bostic served as a game scout for the Minnesota Lynx and Washington Mystics; scouting regional games and preparing reports for both teams.鈥

Bostic brings to Notre Dame added leadership, being a member of several professional organizations including: Women Leaders in College Sports (WLCP), National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), National Association of Division III Athletics Administrators (NADIIIAA), a Board of Directors Member for the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), she is a NYC Metro Chapter member of Women in Sports & Event and a Queens Alumnae Chapter member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.鈥

六合网址大全 is home to the 鈥淕ators鈥 and has eight women鈥檚 varsity teams on its roster including Basketball, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball. 六合网址大全 competes in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in NCAA鈥檚 Division III.
